What is a JDM car tour in Tokyo?

A JDM car tour is a guided night experience where you ride as a passenger in a Japanese Domestic Market sports car — such as a Skyline GT-R, Supra or RX-7 — driven by its local owner. Tours cover the Shuto Expressway, Rainbow Bridge and Daikoku PA.

Do I need a driving license or driving experience?

No. You ride in the passenger seat while the owner drives, so no license or international driving permit is required.

Which JDM cars can I choose from?

You can choose from 8 cars: Nissan Skyline GT-R R34, Toyota Supra MK4, Mazda RX-7 FD, Honda NSX NA1, Nissan Silvia S15, Honda Integra Type R DC5, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI and Toyota AE86 Trueno.

How much does a JDM tour in Tokyo cost?

Tours start from ¥25,000 and go up to ¥45,000 per person depending on the car. Expressway tolls and central Tokyo hotel pickup are included. Prices are set per car and shown on each tour page.

Will we visit Daikoku PA?

Yes. Every tour includes Daikoku Parking Area. Occasionally the police close Daikoku PA on busy nights; if that happens your driver switches to Tatsumi PA or Umihotaru so you still see the car scene.

What time do tours start?

Every tour starts at 19:00 (JST) from your central Tokyo hotel, with drop-off back at your hotel at the end of the night.

Can I take photos and videos?

Absolutely. Photos and videos are encouraged, and every tour includes planned photo stops with your car.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancel up to 7 days before your tour for a full refund. If heavy rain or a typhoon is forecast, you can reschedule for free up to 24 hours before.
